Just over two months after going platinum, Childish Gambino’s hit ‘Redbone’ was recently certified by the RIAA as DOUBLE platinum.

It’s been 31 weeks since ‘Redbone’ first appeared on the Billboard Hot 100. It was just a few weeks ago that the track peaked at #14. The track further builds on Gambino’s already impressive résumé as it tops ‘V. 3005’ which was previously Gambino’s most successful track having peaked at #64 on the Billboard Hot 100 in October of 2014.

There seems to be exciting things to come for Childish Gambino who recently announced the impending retirement of the “Childish Gambino” moniker which will follow the release of his next album.
