We all remember where we were 13 years ago when possibly the most famous wardrobe malfunction of all time took place as Justin Timberlake took the stage for the Superbowl half-time show with Janet Jackson.
Now, JT is getting the chance to come back and be the star of the show, following in the footsteps of recent acts such as Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Beyonce, Coldplay, and more. Justin has publicly stated many times that he deeply regrets what took place at Superbowl XXXVIII, and has poked fun at himself for the mishap on occasion. He’s even spoken on the unfair treatment that Janet Jackson received following the incident, stating, “It’s an understatement to say that it was sort of unfair. If you consider it 50/50, I probably got 10 percent of the blame. That, I think, says something about society. America is harsher on women. America is unfairly harsh on ethnic people. At the time it was happening, it was so crazy to me, that I didn’t handle it the best way I could have.”
Superbowl LII is set to take place Sunday, February 4th, 2018 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Will you be watching?
