1. On Sunday’s episode of ABC’s 20/20, former FBI director James Comey gave his first public interview since being fired by President Donald Trump. Comey did not mince words, using his platform to blast Trump as a serial liar who treated women like meat and described him as a “stain on everyone who worked for him.” He also compared Trump to a mafia boss. “Our president must embody respect and adhere to the values that are at the core of this country,” Comey declared. “The most important being truth. This president is not able to do that. He is morally unfit to be president.” (NY Times)

2. Former first lady Barbara Bush, who celebrated her 92nd birthday last June at the family’s seaside home in Kennebunkport, is in “failing health” and won’t seek more medical treatment, the Bush family spokesman said Sunday. “Following a recent series of hospitalizations, and after consulting her family and doctors, Mrs. Bush … has decided not to seek additional medical treatment and will instead focus on comfort care,” spokesman Jim McGrath said in a statement. 3. As recreational marijuana continues to move through the state house, Governor Paul LePage says he’ll be vetoing the bill—even if it passes in the senate. The bill passed by a large majority in the house this past week. The senate is set to vote this coming Tuesday and with a big enough majority—any veto would be overridden. (WGME)

4. Marathon Monday / Patriots Day! The 21.6-mile Boston Marathon will run from Main Street in Hopkinton, Massachusetts through Boston, finishing on Boylston Street near the John Hancock Tower in Copley Square today. The 122nd iteration of the race starts at 8:30AM. The Red Sox announced that Monday’s 11 a.m. game against the Baltimore Orioles at Fenway Park has been postponed because of the forecast of sustained rain throughout the day.
