1. The death toll has climbed to at least 77 people in the devastating Camp Fire in northern California, while the relatively good news is, the number of people still unaccounted for dropped over the weekend from roughly 1,300 to 993. (NPR)

2. President Trump believes raking forest floors could prevent devastating wildfires–and idea he says he got from the president of Finland. “I was with the president of Finland and he said…they spent a lot of time on raking and cleaning and doing things. And they don’t have any problem,” Trump told reporters while surveying wildfire damage in northern California. Meanwhile, Finnish president Sauli Niinisto told a Finnish newspaper he never said that, but he did tell Trump that Finland “takes care of our forests” through “a good monitoring system and network.” (NewsWeek)

3. Another round of snow will move in on Tuesday. This storm will bring more widespread snow showers. Most areas should expect between 3-5 inches of snow. An Arctic front will bring even cooler temperatures to the region Wednesday night into Thanksgiving. Skies will clear Wednesday night with overnight lows dropping down into the low teens and single digits in some spots. Thanksgiving will be sunny but cold with highs only in the 20s. Brisk northwesterly winds will make it feel even colder. (WGME)

4. Officials across northern New England are urging drivers to be extra cautious as deer are more likely to run out into the roads as it is their peak mating season. New Hampshire Fish and Game officers say the bucks are particularly active now. And they’re not afraid to run across the road to find their mates. (WMTW)
