With recent events like the death of Christina Grimmie, stars are taking more precaution when it comes to interacting with very dedicated fans. Fifth Harmony had an unpleasant encounter with a fan at their hotel in Rio, which ended with one of their bodyguards using a bit of force to escort the fan away.

The incident involved the fan trying to approach the girls’ rooms to get a note to them. The fan became defensive and physical when dealing with the bodyguards and lied about what floor she staying on after getting asked to leave. In the process, the bodyguard was accused of “inappropriately touching” the fan. Yet Ally, Camila, Lauren, Dinah, and Normani; who witnessed the altercation are defending their bodyguards saying they “were doing their jobs of protecting us.”
Though this may seem like a bit much for just a note, there is always that unseen danger that could cost someone their life.
In other news, Fifth harmony is heading to Maine!
This will be the band’s first time coming to Maine. They have been touring all over the world and they’re bringing  their 7/27 tour to Bangor on August 5th, and we’re giving away tickets to some lucky fans. Be sure to tune in with Ryan and Krissy in the morning and Mijo in the afternoon.
