Tekashi 6ix9ine testified in court on Thursday that Cardi B was a member of the Nine Trey Bloods, along with fellow rapper Jim Jones.
6ix9ine, whose birth name is Daniel Hernandez, is currently on trial for multiple charges including racketeering, drug trafficking, and other charges. He is facing decades of prison time. Over the past week, he has named many individuals during his trial in order to get a lesser sentence. This is causing a big online controversy in the Hip-Hop culture.
Cardi B was brought into conversation with her involvement with gang members in her music videos. Tekashi said it was a boost to her career. Cardi stated in her previous interviews that she was involved in gangs but never had any involvement with the Nine Trey Bloods.
Footage was released earlier this week by the federal government of 6ix9ine’s kidnapping back in July.
