The rap trio have had an incredible year, reaching the top of the Billboard 100 charts, first with their hit Bad and Boujee ft. Lil Uzi Vert and then with their album Culture. The group has shown no signs of slowing down. All three members have done solo features along with songs for DJ Khaled on the Grateful album and Mike WiLL Made-It on Ransom 2 album and much more.

Lead man of the group, Quavo currently appears on 10 songs on the Hot 100 charts and he is the third-most streamed artist on spotify! Quavo has announced a collaborative album with Travis Scott and earlier this month (June 11) tweeted saying they are almost done recording! The two artists have said this album is “coming soon” for a few months now and we all know how long “coming soon” can really mean in the music industry. Just take Luv Is Rage 2 by Lil Uzi Vert for example, which has been “coming soon” for the better part of a year now. Nonetheless, Quavo and Travis have been putting out much more music recently. Travis also said that “he likes surprises” so be ready for a surprise drop on this dual album!

Quavo isn’t the only Migos member who has been busy though! All three members had a pretty eventful weekend at the BET awards on Sunday. Migos lit up the stage with Bad and Boujee and T-shirt. The group also took home two of the most anticipated awards with the Best Group and Best Collaboration with what else but Bad and Boujee ft. Lil Uzi Vert. During the awards, Joe Budden, host of Everyday Struggle hip hop talk show, interviewed Migos and it got a little heated. Joe Budden yet again, expresses his opinions on the new era of hip-hop and the Migos were ready to square up. Watch the video below.

During an after party for the BET Awards, there was an altercation between the Migos and Chris Brown. It seems that just words were thrown around though. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Fix, Offset says “He don’t want no smoke.” Offset was accompanied by his new girl Cardi B, who is Chris Brown’s ex, which seems to be the cause of the beef. Offset didn’t seem to say much about the incident so we aren’t really sure what exactly happened, if anything.

Lastly, Culture 2 may be out as soon as this October! Earlier this month (June 15) Quavo freestyled the hook of Bad and Boujee “Culture 2 dropping soon, what it do.” In the same interview with The Hollywood Fix, Offset was asked if we could expect any new music from the group and his response “Culture 2 in October!”
