On Saturday (May 12), Big Boi and Andre 3000 got back together to attend the graduation of Big Boi’s son Andre “Bamboo” Patton II, who had just gotten his high school diploma from Woodward Academy in Georgia.

Bamboo, full name Antwan Andre Patton II (Big Boi’s son), was referenced in the lyrics of his 2000 song Bombs Over Bagdad (B.O.B) on their fourth album called Stankonia, so it was funny to see him use the name 18 years later captioning his Instagram post with;
“Bamboo Got that Paper work !!! @woodwardacademy class of 2018 !!! #WithHonors”.

Don’t forget we’re even bringing Big Boi to Maine for Hot Summer 2018!
